Fight? nah, he would insta-lose. Hmmmmmmmm, maybe something to do with the otehr contestants? Do you think he will reveal his irregular status? GAH I’M EXCITED AGAIN!!!

    1. I don’t think he would want to reveal his irregular status since he is trying not to stand out. What the point of changing his name and visual appearance if he wanted to reveal his status. Though it would be cool since he can ask the guardian for a test, thus overruling the admin test (unlikely though).

      1. Not wanting to stand out?! HE JUST DECLARED HE WAS FROM FUG AND GOT 130 THOUSAND POINTS HOW IS HE NOT STANDING OUT! He may have changed his appearance and name BECAUSE PEOPLE TOLD HIM SO. He is dead, and it was a result of his best friend lahel. He was probably just given it and he went along, or it is likely he changed his name because Lahel, who betrayed him, gave it to him.

    I don’t see why Ja Wangnan would be enemies with Viole. He also aims for the destruction of Zahard and the ten families.

      1. I remember him saying he wants to be king of the tower. Although that doesn’t necessarily mean he lives for their death like Baam does, it is unlikely Zahard and the families will step down from the throne without a fight. So saying you want to be king of the tower could very well mean be as “dangerous to the tower” as killing them. But I think Wangnan just wants to be great and so is just talking the biggest talk that could be talked.

          1. He would end the ten families, not king Jahad. And although they could ammount to the same thing he is obviously lying. Saying it to get in with the FUG regular who is so badass he makes Chuck Norris………. He is on par with Chuck Norris. Anyway….. He doesnt actually say it.

    1. Actually Baam can’t take tests from the Gaurdian anymore if he wants it to be kept secret that he’s an irregular. So this time he HAS to follow the laws of the towers.

      1. Does he want to keep it a secret I wonder? He has been VERY liberal with his… Status….. as a FUG and a raging badass. Though it would be so troublesome to activaly get a mish from the gaurdian when he could get an easy one from a Ranker with no effort and while only needing a bit thicker armour on his back.

  37. Sure thing is those people will end up with Baam in a team. So propably the ranker will win the game (maybe Baam will loose on purpose when some circumstances occur). Why?
    Because who would introduce so many new characters just to fail them on 1st test..

    Why did it take you single day to translate this chapter, and whole week to translate chapter before?
    I was thinking that maybe there was more to translate in this one, but not really, as this has way more conversations than one before.

    1. Like any teamwork in the world, you’ll notice that you spend a lot of time waiting for others. This is the key cause of delay in any group work. We have to coordinate all the members involved to get things out. If you look at the creds in this page, you’ll notice that I did almost everything, this was for the sake of speeding this chapter up. I cannot realistically do this all the time.

      Also, people often make the mistake that translation is a significant portion of time it takes to release a chapter. But translation is one of the least work jobs in scanlation. This is why modifying everything (including sfx, etc) takes many multiples of time it takes than a speed scanlation which only replaces bubbles, and why a teamwork is necessary if you don’t want a single person working their whole day off.

      Since about an hour into tog’s official release, I’ve been working on ToG for this chapter until the time it was posted.

    1. Think i read somewhere that “Grace” is the name of the leader of FUG, also called “the devil of the Tower, who is like the 15 strongest person of the tower. Wouldnt it b cool if Baam was his disciple

    2. remember that this is his last chance to pass, if he fails he’ll get killed for his organs due to his debt. That’s why the “guaranteed skeleton”
